Sustainable tourism policy
Our cluster believes that whilst tourism empowers our communities and helps boost our local economy, it cannot be to the detriment of our environment. We have a social responsibility to protect the Loughinsholin area.
Our experiences and accommodations celebrate the traditions of our land, our community and our local heritage. As a result, our sustainability policy addresses potential social and environmental challenges that our tourism activities could have on our local environment. Its aim is to leave our destination in a better state than before we began our businesses. Our policy promises to protect both our environment and the social-cultural elements of the Loughinsholin area.
